There are two practice nurses and one health care assistant who hold their own ‘surgeries’ during normal surgery hours. They are available for ear syringing, stitch removal, dressings, routine injections, blood tests, travel advice, immunisation, dietary advice and lifestyle screening. Appointments are made at reception.
District Nurse
There is full liaison with the district nurse. You can contact her by telephone on 01926 888026.
Health Visitor
The health visitor delas with children aged 0 - 5 years, family problems, physical, emotional or social. She is available at the Childrens Centre (telephone 01789 764093)in St Faiths Road on a Wednesday afternoon between 1.00 - 3.00pm. At other times she can be contacted by telephone on 01789 762566 or 0752 590 5557.
District Midwife
Works closely with the practice.
Receptionists
There are five receptionists who are available and glad to help during opening hours.
Please note, all practice staff are bound by strict rules of confidentiality.
TRAINING
Trainee Doctors
We are not a training practice for doctors, but if we do have any trainee doctors the patient will be able to decide if they wish the trainee to be present during their consultation.
Medical Students
Arrow Lodge is affiliated to Warwick Medicak School. From time to time medical students will be sitting in with doctors. You will be told when you arrive for your appointment and if you do not wish the student to be present, please let the receptionist know and they will leave the room for the duration of the consultation.
